“To play without passion is inexcusable!”

Tuition

  1. The cost for piano lessons is billed monthly, at a flat rate of $130. Your tuition guarantees that I will be present to teach 42 weeks within one year. This allows 5 weeks off for students and parents due to vacations/sicknesses/inclement weather, and 5 weeks off for me due to vacations/sicknesses/holidays. Monthly invoices will be sent by the first of the month, and payment is due by the 10th of every month. A $15.00 late fee will be assessed for late payment. There is no long term contract, however I recommend a year of lessons to be able to see sustainable success. Tuition includes 30 minute lessons in your home, and it pays for the time and money spent in lesson preparation, transportation, printing supplies, sheet music, and theory worksheets.
  • Tuition money is also used to hold two highly encouraged student piano recitals; one in May, and one in November. Approximately half of this money will go towards continuing my own education as a teacher through books, professional journals, conferences, webinars, and local workshops. The knowledge gained from these and other sources ensure that I am able to continue giving students the best music education available!

Other Costs
  1. A $25.00 book fee is required at the beginning of registration. The cost of any additional books needed would be added to your monthly invoice. Many times extra books are not needed. The cost for books will not exceed $50.00 a year, and I will always ask for permission and approval before buying them. New/extra books are always your final call as the parent.
  • A one time $30.00 registration fee is required to guarantee your day and time for one year. I generally accept new students at the beginning of every month.

Payment

  • Acceptable forms of payment include Paypal, credit card, check, or cash. Payment is due by the 10th of every month. A $15.00 fee will be applied for payment received after the 10th.
